Whenever you come to us with a new legal matter, a lawyer reviews your documents and gives you an initial written assessment — up to 30 minutes of work is included in your membership fee. The lawyer decides how to use that time most usefully for your situation. If more work is needed, you’ll first receive a quote for the part that goes beyond 30 minutes. It’s up to you whether to accept it.

As many as you need. Every new legal matter comes with a 30-minute initial consultation included in your membership fee, no matter how many matters come up during the year. Follow-up questions on the same matter are part of the same case.

Any legal issue a HUGO lawyer hasn’t handled for you before. There are usually more of them than you might think: divorce, dividing joint property, where the children will live, contact arrangements, child maintenance and splitting a joint loan are six separate matters, not one — they go through different proceedings, need different documents and often come up at different times. It doesn’t matter when the problem started: if you join today and the matter is new, the initial consultation is included straight away.

Your spouse or partner, children under 21, children with disabilities regardless of age, a parent or grandparent who lives with you, and your spouse’s or partner’s children from a previous relationship. Nobody needs to be registered separately.

The same lawyer will send you a quote with a specific time estimate and price (hourly rate from €79). Nothing starts running automatically — you decide.

Describing your problem is free. The lawyer reviews your documents and sends you a quote (for example, “approximately 10 hours at €79 per hour”). You only pay once you accept the quote.

Yes. Your lawyer is bound by exactly the same duty of confidentiality as if you walked into a law firm in person.

HUGO+ is a 12-month annual subscription that renews automatically. When you cancel, it simply won’t renew, and you can keep using the service until the end of the period you’ve paid for. If you’ve only just joined and haven’t used the service yet, you can withdraw from the contract within 14 days and get your money back.
